Fee & Insurance

My session fee is typically $150 for a 50 minute session. I understand that the cost of therapy can pose a real financial strain and that my usual session fee might be unaffordable, so I offer a sliding scale lower than my typical rate for a limited number of clients.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance companies for my services. Many insurance plans have out-of-network benefits, particularly for mental health services. If your insurance offers these benefits, I will provide you with a statement each month that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

These are useful questions to ask your provider if you are considering using insurance to pay for therapy:

• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? If so, what portion of the fee will insurance reimburse?

• How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?

• What is my deductible?

• What is my co-payment?
